The Office of Web Communication and all departmental web liaisons, publishers and contributors work together to maintain the hrfjk.com website and all of its subsites according to best practices and at the highest quality possible.
Web governance refers to people, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines that govern the creation and maintenance of the Lamar University official website and digital properties. These include:
- Pages managed in the content management system
- LU Intranet
- Campus calendar
- College websites
- Blogs created and managed within hrfjk.com
- Externally focused applications and services
- E-newsletters
- Other tools supporting electronic communications.
To that end, this policy outlines the management and governance of the Lamar University web environment.
